SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

EPISODE 6

Documentary  |  19 min  |  2026  |  HD

In this episode of the Get To Going series, Amber Estenson heads to Southern California (SoCal) for a trip that moves from the energy of Los Angeles to the calm of the coast, then out toward the quiet expanse of the desert.

The journey starts with inline skating at Venice Beach, street tacos, and a miniature take on LA’s car culture before heading south toward San Diego for surfing, shopping, and a slower moment by the water. From there, Amber trades beach sand for desert dunes, winding past the Salton Sea to Twentynine Palms for local finds, wide-open spaces, and a night under some of Southern California’s darkest skies.

It’s a trip that proves you don’t have to choose one version of SoCal. Sometimes the best way to experience a place is to let the scenery, and the pace, keep changing.
